Stop Shop Lazarevac

The STOP SHOP Lazarevac complex was developed as a retail park with 23 separate retail units, totaling 10,100 m² of sales area and an additional 1,104 m² under canopies. The building was designed as a single-story U-shaped structure, with an orthogonal and strongly horizontal layout, meeting the functional requirements of this type of facility.

Each unit has direct access from the front plaza – a parking lot for passenger vehicles, with clearly defined pedestrian walkways.

The project also included the construction of a 24-meter-high advertising totem and a 96 m² children’s playground.

The structural system consists of a prefabricated reinforced concrete skeleton, including isolated foundations, columns, primary and secondary beams, with grid dimensions of: 15.0×18.0 m; 17.0×18.0 m; and 18.0×18.0 m.
The roof is a layered system – steel trapezoidal sheet, thermal insulation, and waterproof membrane, dimensioned to meet all energy efficiency and fire resistance requirements. Roof drainage is gravitational, through horizontal outlets and vertical PVC pipes connected to the city’s stormwater system.

In addition to the main structure, Konstruktor executed the external traffic surfaces across approx. 12,025 m², including:

• the front plaza with internal roads and 220 parking spaces,
• pedestrian areas and a public square for rest and gathering,
• and a rear delivery route.

Final surfacing included asphalt and concrete pavers (behaton), while an additional 9,875 m² was landscaped.

Konstruktor served as the general contractor on a turnkey basis, delivering all architectural and civil works, HVAC, plumbing and electrical installations, interior finishing works, and full landscape and site development of the complex.
