Polimark
Konstruktor was engaged in the turnkey execution of a complex project including the construction of a new production hall, reconstruction and technological upgrades of an existing hall, and the addition of a third floor to the administrative building.
About the project
Konstruktor was tasked with a highly specific technical assignment at the Polimark production and administrative complex in Zemun, involving design and execution on three separate buildings — all while the company’s regular production operations remained active, which posed significant organizational and logistical challenges.
The Polimark industrial complex is located near the main Belgrade – Novi Sad highway. Construction work included:
- Building 1 – BIN Industrial Hall:
Design and construction of a new production hall. The structure was realized as a steel frame system with a 26-meter span and 6-meter spacing. The facade was built using Brucha insulated panels, a flat layered roof system, and epoxy industrial flooring. - Building 2 – STB3 Sanitary-Technical Block:
Construction of a third-floor extension. The load-bearing structure was a steel frame with a flat, layered roof made of trapezoidal metal sheets, mineral wool insulation, and a PVC waterproofing membrane. - Building 3 – STH Industrial Block:
Reconstruction and technological reconfiguration were carried out within the operating production hall, requiring precision execution without disrupting daily processes.
Konstruktor acted as the general contractor under a design & build / turnkey agreement, responsible for all architectural and civil works, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations, interior fit-out, and complete site development.
