Konstruktor and Bauwesen signed a turnkey contract for the fabrication and installation of a pedestrian footbridge connecting the Sava Quay (river port) with the Grand Staircase approach, the main pedestrian access to downtown Belgrade.

About the project

This pedestrian bridge project was one of the most prestigious infrastructure tasks for the City of Belgrade, as it established a key connection between the Sava river port and the city center, significantly improving accessibility for the many international tourists arriving via river cruises.

The turnkey contract included all phases of the steel structure’s production and assembly – from material procurement, workshop fabrication, and anti-corrosion protection, to transport and installation at the highly complex site in the heart of Belgrade.
