Kalman II

Following the successful completion of the Kalman project in 2013, the investor continued development within the industrial zone of Šimanovci with the construction of a new warehouse facility spanning 3,000 m².
Konstruktor was engaged on this project as the general contractor.

About the project

The facility was developed on a turnkey basis.
Design, permitting, construction, and technical commissioning were all completed in under three months, allowing the investor to put the facility into operation earlier than originally planned in the investment timeline.

A successful materialization strategy was applied using a combination of BRUCHA thermal-insulation sandwich panels, aluminum curtain wall façades, and K-bond composite panels, which gave the building both a functional and strong aesthetic character.

This was the seventh project on which Konstruktor applied vibro-pressed concrete paving blocks (behaton) for traffic surfaces, confirming their advantages over asphalt: high load capacity, easy maintenance, and eco-friendly properties (bitumen-free). In addition, the cost-efficiency of behaton played a significant role in investment decision-making, enabling cost savings for the client.

Konstruktor acted as the general contractor, under a turnkey agreement, responsible for design, permitting, and construction of all architectural and structural works, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical installations, interior finishing works, and all landscaping and site development activities.
