JTI – Japan Tobacco International AD Senta

The extension of the finished goods warehouse within the JT International complex in Senta was planned to expand the existing storage capacity.
The span of the main girders was 47 meters.

Konstruktor was engaged as the general contractor for this project.

About the project

The planned shape of the new hall was derived from its intended function, the dimensions of the existing Halls No. 6 and 7, and the available space on the parcel.

The roof ridges of the extended sections follow the height of the existing halls.
The hall with a 47 m span reaches a height of 12.5 m.

The structural system of the building consists of a prefabricated steel frame construction supported by isolated footings and strip foundations.

Despite the highly demanding work on the mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler systems, the facility was completed in a record-short timeframe.

Konstruktor was engaged as the general contractor, under a turnkey contract, for the execution of all architectural and civil works, as well as HVAC, hydraulic, and electrical installations, interior finishing works, and site development.
