On the eve of 2023, the Konstruktor construction company employees’ children, little benefactors with huge hearts, painted a hundred works of art – for the sake of other children.
All their paintings were “purchased” by Konstruktor, and the funds were donated to the Tiršova Children’s Hospital in Belgrade for the purchase of state-of-the-art medical and surgical equipment.
This charitable and inventive initiative encouraged all the employees’ children to perform selfless acts of kindness, whereas the Konstruktor company management fully supported it financially, with a clear ultimate goal in mind – “may there be as many coins as sparks” – so, grab your brushes, children! The more pictures you paint, the more money we will give, this humanitarian action belongs to you.
The little ones took to the task seriously, submitting their masterpieces daily. From children who have just learned to hold a pencil, to students of applied arts… and a large exhibition was organized in Konstruktor’s hall.
Tatjana Vesnić, Konstruktor’s marketing director, has said that this campaign, like any other genuine one, was initiated quite spontaneously and from the heart. That is why it has turned out to be so beautiful and inspiring.
“We were in a meeting and at some point we started discussing what kind of gift cards we could send our dear clients this year. That’s how it all started… and as it always happens, the idea started to branch out into a thousand directions. In addition to being socially responsible, such things are really inspiring and it’s very nice when they are given the proper meaning. It is the children who supported it and invested their effort. Afterwards, when everything was over, we showed them the photos of our visit to Tiršova Hospital to donate the funds, and they saw their exhibition in Konstruktor’s hall, which made them feel so proud. And I, speaking as a mother and not an employee who organized the whole thing, also felt it quite intimately and deeply. I would also like to mention, and express my immense gratitude to, everyone at Tiršova Hospital: the administration, doctors, employees, all the medical staff… those people are constantly on the move. When we visited them, we got the opportunity to see them in action firsthand, even though we had already been familiar with their work. They work ardently and incessantly. Many thanks to all our doctors, we wish them as little work as possible, and as many children’s smiles as they could get!”
